Cedar Quartet @ Tempo Rubato - Silhouettes & Sunrise

The Cedar Quartet invites you to Silhouettes & Sunrise - an evening shaped by discovery, reflection and new light. Emerging Naarm-based artists Sara Barbagallo (violin), Jessica Leigh (violin), Edmund Mantelli (viola) and Sarah Wang (cello) journey from the vivid Australian voices of Maria Grenfell and Anne Cawrse to the enduring musical conversations of Beethoven and Haydn. From silhouettes beginning to take shape to the promise of sunrise, the program captures a quartet discovering its shared voice and looking towards what comes next.
